We are a Vegan Sanctuary

Why vegan? We firmly believe that killing one set of animals to save another is not just hypocritical, it is harmful to the planet and humans as well.

Hence we took a conscious decision that we will serve only vegan food for not just our patients, but our team and guests too. In addition to adopting vegan and sustainable practices (like our own vegetable gardens) we have included vegan awareness campaigns in our community outreach programs.

A PFA Dehradun Initiative

Raahat (peace and comfort) was started with the objective of providing peace and comfort to all animals in distress. We work to improve the lives of animals in our community and beyond. All our programmes are driven by our belief in the intrinsic dignity and sanctity of animal life.
Raahat Animal Hospital & Sanctuary is spread on a campus of 1 acre, privately owned by the organization

Help Animals India

We wish to acknowledge the support extended to Raahat, its team, and the innumerable animals that have passed through here by Help Animals India. Their unstinting love and support have been key in helping us get where we are today.
